Services for the Elderly & People with Disabilities
The Norwalk Transit District provides a variety of public paratransit services throughout the Southwestern region of Connecticut. These include door-to-door services required by the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA); service to the elderly in some communities; and, service between communities for participating municipalities. Dispatch-A-Ride (Norwalk ADA)
Within Norwalk for qualified persons with a disability who are unable to use the WHEELS public bus service.
Easy Access (Stamford ADA)
Within the CT Transit, Stamford division service area, for qualified persons with a disability who are unable to use the CT Transit public bus service.
Stamford Senior Transportation
Within Stamford, for seniors who are at least 60 years of age for group shopping trips or nutrition site transportation.
Westport Door-to-Door (Westport ADA)
Within Westport for qualified persons with a disability who are unable to use the Westport public bus service.
Westport Door-to-Door (Elderly)
Within Westport, for seniors who are at least 65 years of age.
TOWN-TO-TOWN
Intertown services for qualified persons with a disability who are residents of Westport, Norwalk, Wilton or New Canaan
